Australia is always the favorite destination for immigrants from all over the world. Australia provides a lot of immigration options in which a skilled person may fit. Research says that Australia will become more and more popular destination for prospective immigrants in the near future.
On the other hand, Canada has put a cap on the new immigrants and limits the number of new immigrants to 20,000 each year which is big drawback of potential immigrants. Only the first 1000 people from each of 29 demanded occupations will be considered for immigration and others will be discarded. So the immigration applicant will always be in doldrums that his application will be accepted or not. This will also create a competition between immigrants and more competitive immigrants might fail to get the immigration only due to the reason of late submission of their application.
Australia do not have such kind of limitation on new immigrants so it will always be the most favorite destination for skilled immigrants.
