Applicants Condemn Unexpected Changes in Australian Visa

Australia (Country Guide)
The current changes take by the Immigration program by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenships (DIAC) have not been taken very satisfactorily and is being condemn. As said by the new changes, the postponement of the General Migration Visas also includes in it.

Consistent with the critics, all the visa applicants have not been informed in prior sufficient regarding the changes. Comparable incidents took place in last September when the DIAC had brought about assured changes pertaining to the system of main concern system. These amendments had very much affected the old in addition to the new applicants. The amends were brought about so fleetly that the individual state governments literally had to work hard to make the sponsor visa applicants understand.

Analogous instances have taken place which has made it hard for the applicants having general skills to get a visa and come to Australia. In February, the MODL was detached and the visa applicants were divided based on the date they had applied. Those who had applied previous to September 2007, their applications would not be processed. Such applicants would obtain the refund of their application fee. It was said that approximately 20,000 applicants were affected since of this amend.

The Australian Government plus the DIAC have emphasized that they were mostly catering to the Highly Skilled Migrants. This would obviously affect the new Skilled Occupation List which is expected to gradually be the alternate for the CSL. This new Skilled Occupation List could be viewed now and by the center of this year, it would put back the CSL.
